Moving around
5sStep backJumps back by the Step amount. Good for catching a word you missed.
Pause / PlayPauses the video, or starts it again. The button reads Pause while the video plays and Play while it is paused.
5sStep forwardJumps ahead by the Step amount.
Go toGo toTap it, type a time, then press Enter or tap Go to again. Type digits only and the colons are added for you: 130 becomes 1:30, and 12345 becomes 1:23:45. Esc cancels.
5StepHow many seconds the step buttons jump, from 1 to 300. It starts from the Video Step setting in the site menu.
Marking a moment
Paused atPaused atPause the video and this fills in the exact time. The Tools shelf also opens by itself when you pause.
Stop atStop atWhere the video should stop. If the link had an end time it is already filled in. Type a time, or use Copy to Stop, and the video will pause there.
⏮ Copy to StopCopy to StopCopies the Paused at time into Stop at. Pause where you want the video to end, then tap it.
Sharing, loading, and the screen
LocalYour own fileA video you picked from your device stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no share link.
↻ RotateFull screenOn a phone, turn it sideways for the video alone, full screen. Turn it upright to bring the controls back.
