STRESS DASHBOARD

Voice stress analysis. You record a voice, reduce it to numbers, then do a lot of really tricky math to it to detect and measure changes.

It's said to be able to identify stress because it picks up the subject talking a little faster, a little higher pitched, maybe starting to insert some umms and ahhhs.

Some use it as a tool to detect lies, but that's not what this is about.

This 20 minute segment is serious drama. Billions are at stake, tens of thousands of jobs, the future of a pretty big patch of land, and maybe the survival of Palm Coast.

It's not a podcast, or a top ranked TV drama. It's the real deal. Real people.

We see it as a synchronized study in the fight or flight dynamic.

We did this not to see if anyone's lying — we did it because we think it's cool.

Mostly, though, we did it because we can.
